The Vernon Housing Authority offers affordable housing for low-income individuals who are elderly and/or disabled and families.  Please know that all of our housing sites are subject to waiting lists.  

However, all waiting lists are currently closed and we are not accepting new applications at this time.  Interested Applicants can refer to our website periodically to check the status of the re-opening of the waiting lists.

    Complex that includes efficiency and one-bedroom apartments. Address: 21 Court Street, Vernon, CT 06066.
  • Franklin Park West
    Complex that include one-bedroom apartments. Address: 76 Franklin Street, Vernon, CT 06066
  • Franklin Park East
    Complex that includes efficiency and one-bedroom apartments. Address: 44 Franklin Street, Vernon, CT 06066
  • Windermere Court
    Complex that includes efficiency and one-bedroom apartments. Address: 29 Windermere Avenue, Vernon, CT 06066

The waiting lists for the Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher Program, the Public Housing Program, and the Pitkat Congregate Living Center are currently CLOSED.  When the Vernon Housing Authority opens the waiting list, it will be announced on the website and through public notice in both the local newspaper and with 2-1-1.
